Raking Leaves

Each fall - we have TONS of leaves we have to rake. So Gavin enjoyed "playing" in the leaves this year... and he even had his own rake to help too (didn't get a photo of that though).

As you can see, Gavin enjoyed taking the leaves from the pile that Scott pulled together and moving them... no, no.... let's keep them in the pile! Gotta love 2-year old little minds!

Let's just say the 2 boys at my house wore lots of purple this fall - GO NU WILDCATS!

Northwestern Football - go team - they had a great season and now we wait to see what bowl they get into.... keep your fingers crossed!

Congrats to Alyson and Carsten!!! Your wedding was beautiful, the reception was fun and it was officially Gavin's first wedding to attend. He had a great time. Here are pictures to prove it. And maybe a video too...

Gavin had a great time last weekend with family celebrating his birthday on Sunday after the big family wedding (next post). Thanks everyone for coming, sharing the love and the fun and thoughtful gifts.

Happy 2nd Birthday Gavin!!!

Gavin is officially 2!!! YEAH!!!

Happy Birthday to our now no longer baby and official toddler. What a fun day today on your birthday. We went to the toy store, got some ice cream, and had some nice quality family time at home. We celebrated his birthday with Mommy's family last weekend (pics to come) and will celebrate with Daddy's family over Thanksgiving and celebrated as a family today. Gavin got a new road carpet, some cars and a new Strider bike.

Trick-or-Treating

We took Gavin to a few of our friend's houses to trick-or-treat.... and he was pretty excited (I think we were more excited than he was...).
